Descrição
Suzuki GT250 X7 with full FLF Barry Sheene replica kit.
If you know your X7’s then you’ll know that this is the holy grail of X7’s, you just don’t get any more 70’s than this.
So please check out all the pictures and the full description so you know exactly what you’re getting.
The bike is currently fitted with the FLF body work but not the full fairing, the fairing is there and can be fitted, all you need is a set of clip-ons or ace bars. The main reason it’s not on is that I just couldn't get on with the riding position, being a lanky 6’2”. I also really like the look of it as it is and it’s that bit lighter.
As well as the FLF set up the bike also comes with the correct rear-sets, which have been fully refurbished, with all linkages, etc. re-plated. The exhausts are made to measure Swarbrick expansion chambers, which sound lovely.
Additional work that has been carried out includes powder coated frame, polished fork legs, engine casings, top yolk and wheel rims. All fasteners have been re-plated. This year the carbs have been ultra sonic cleaned and vapor blasted and new filters fitted. The front brake has also been refurbished with new seals, pads and braided line.
Included in the sale will be standard side panels, tail piece, rear light, an excellent original seat and standard footpegs and leavers, so if you wanted to the bike can be put back to standard spec.
In addition the bike will come with several boxes of spares including a good pair of allspeed expansion chambers, another standard seat, a complete dismantled engine and various cables, nuts and bolts, etc.
So I hope you will agree this is a fantastic package that can only go up in value.
The bike is all ready to ride with tax and MOT until June 2015 so ready to enjoy well in to next Summer. Although in excellent condition there are some areas than can be improved, if you wanted to and would only add value. The bodywork does have some age related marks but no major damage. The speedo and headlight have some scuffs so could do with replacing. In summary a very nice collectable bike that you can tinker with and improve as you go along.
Viewing is welcome and highly recommended and I am always happy to answer any questions.
I am selling as I have decided to finally give up biking. I have only managed a handful of miles again this year and it’s just a waste for the bike to be sitting gathering dust.
I am well aware of the value of this bike and also that I would probably get much more if I sold the extra bits off separately but I would like it to go as a whole, if it doesn't sell I will store it over Winter and re advertise in the Spring so get in now to beat the rush.
Thank you for looking.
