Here we have a lovely, 1953 R-Type Standard Steel saloon which has just travelled over 900 miles to and from Goodwood Revival without any dramas! Finished in Nutmeg Brown over Champagne Gold with Tan leather trim and Caramel carpets. This is a Manual right-hand gearchange car with a lovely patina, and with everything in working order. Not a concours winning car but it great, usable condition, and it always brings compliments wherever it goes. Surely these cars represent the last of the 'affordable' classic Bentleys? It does have some history with it and obviously went through some kind of restoration many years ago. Originally Masons Black when new but the current colour scheme is very period correct and even extends to the underbonnet area.
