This car was sold new in Portugal, was owned from new by a single family, I purchased this car from the grandson of original owner.
The car is body number 1749, it is a very early car, sold new in May, 29, 1948.
The car was never restored, it was only peinted the same original collor, Mercury metalic blue, it was renewed in the upholestry. It still retains its original front rubber floor mat.
The Owner manual is on the glove box and all tools are in wooden tool box in the boot.
It is clean unspoilled very early example of the cherished James Dean coupe.
