A little about the car
The car is MOT’d until July 2016, currently SORN.
Mileage: 60, 708
Location: Driffield East Yorkshire
I bought this vehicle in 2007. I knew the 2 previous owners and couldn’t let a car like this pass me by.
The car was only slightly modified when I acquired it, and in my ownership I have only done things that I believe are tasteful and used parts of good quality.
There is a huge file full of receipts, history, old mots, old photos, and old brochures.
I have approximately 4 boxes of spare parts that were gathered up by a previous owner. As these are a very rare vehicle all these spares may come in handy. I won’t list them all but they include electrical interior and exterior parts, old parts replaced with modified ones, new parts, original alloys with centre caps, the list goes on.
In 2008 I spent approximately £2000 on alloys, suspension, brakes and a service by a local Japanese tuning garage.
Then in 2010 I booked the car into a local body shop and had some paintwork done, this included new genuine rubber window strips, new windscreen, new genuine decals (not currently fitted), removal of bump strips, and some other corrective work. At the same time I serviced the car and replaced the clutch with a brand new Exedy unit as a preventative.
Other bits that I or the previous owner have done are replaced 2x coil packs, an amplifier unit, replaced rear wheel bearings, steering gators, brand new radiator, new Yuasa battery last year, recent rear brake pads and plenty of oil and filter changes.
Ive only decided to sell the car as I don’t use it anymore and it spends more time in my unit than on the road. I want someone to give it the home it deserves.
The car is in excellent condition inside and out, as you would expect from a vehicle with such little mileage on the clock. Bear in mind that it is a used car and that there are a couple of marks and blemishes in the paint and interior but nothing major nor hugely noticeable.
The only bad points I can come up with would be that the parcel shelf is missing, for the life of me I can’t find it but I’m sure its somewhere.
The black trim below the windscreen is a bit rough.
The best thing I can suggest is to come and look at the car, as pictures and a description won’t do it justice. Im free weekends and weeknights, but will need a bit of notice beforehand.
Id like £2500 for it, I think its a fair price and I’ve clearly spend twice that on it in the past 8 years. I also had a look on howmanyleft. co. uk and they suggest that last year only 20 remain in the uk and of 20 only 7 were taxed (this including 1 of the 7).
Any questions or inspection welcome, thanks.
