Very rare Quantum 2+2 kit car, based on a 1988 Ford Fiesta XR2 with all XR2 running gear, only 2 previous owners from being a Quantum & the last owner had for 17 years & purchased it directly from Quantum Sports Cars for £9000.
Finished in yellow gel coat (similar to Lotus Norfolk Mustard), 15" alloy wheels with Yokohama tyres, Ford Fiesta RS Turbo Recaro seats, MK3 Ford Fiesta dashboard, sports steering wheel, uprated suspension, remote central locking, electric windows, electric mirrors, alarm & barrier dead lock, a very high spec build.
MOT'd until July 2017 & passed with no advisories & just had a full major service less than 10 miles ago consisting of oil & filter, cam belt, tensioner & water pump + recently had new plugs, leads, exhaust & hood.
Correctly registered as a Quantum & has retained the original donor registration number, comes with loads of paperwork, spare keys & work shop manual.
There are a few small jobs to make perfect again & could easily be done over a weekend & would take more time than money:
There are 2 poppers missing from the hood, 2 sun visor clips are missing, the interior door cards require some very minor TLC & the gel coat has faded over the years, will polish up alright & looks good from a few feet away but will probably need a good machine buff/ mop/ polish as there are some dark areas on or in the gel coat on all panels however still generally presentable.
Genuine reason for sale, my son purchased this car as a first car for when he passes his test due to the cheap insurance & due to me having owned one of these for the past 4 years but due to me having changed jobs I'm having to part with mine so my son has decided to buy mine & sell his.
Please research Quantum cars on Google, these are a superior kit car that can be used everyday & a great alternative to the common MX-5's, MGF's etc & will never rust due to the fibreglass construction.
