History of the 1968-1982 Chevrolet Corvette (C3):
Nicknamed the Mako Shark, the C3 Corvette sported refinements like hidden wipers and no vent windows. 1972 was the last year for chrome bumpers at both front and rear, the vacuum actuated pop-up windshield wiper door.
