This is a hand-built Toylander 1 based small land Rover. Powered by a 12v electric motor it will travel at up to approx. 5 miles per hour and is a new toy ideal for the child Land Rover enthusiast to use in the garden. Built off Toylander 1 plans this heirloom toy is made using moisture resistant MDF, exterior ply, hardwood, pine, leather and canvas. Metal parts are stainless steel, aluminium, galvanised and steel. Hand painted, all over, with several layers of hard wearing Land Rover (a bronze green, of course!) paint.
Slow start throttle, reverse gear and brakes ensure this mini Land Rover can be used around a normal garden and fits through a standard doorway. Lights work on switch, horn on button (NB. Parents or Grandparents, this can be disconnected easily!) tail board opens & closes, bonnet opens and closes and windscreen folds down and all can be locked/ padlocked. Master key as well to prevent un-authorised use. Easy to re-charge and with new battery supplied will run for several hours. Articulated front axle and pneumatic tyres.
Two IGNITION KEYs, master cut off switch, forward and reverse selection, accelerator and brake pedal and built with new (Toylander) master electrics/ motor, throttle/ slow start so can be upgraded with a remote wander lead (extra cost). We can arrange packing on a pallet/ box for hcollection for distant delivery if needed, contact for details/ cost. New heavy duty battery.
Built by a semi-retired skilled man with a lot of Land Rover experience and ready for the hot summer this is an unusual model as the photos show with many extra details not usually found on standard replicas (see the photos) like the rear cross-member (aluminium), front bumper (rubber and stainless steel) three gear levers (including yellow push down and red pull back).
