XJ550, 1982 W reg. Only 2 previous owners and 7600 miles from new! The bike was owned by a father and son from new, documentation to prove this. The bike is largely original with some period after market parts fitted. The bike had been dry stored since 1990; the last tax disc is still fitted on the bike. The bike has been re- comissioned and has an MOT until April 2018.
The original tool kit is still under the seat along with the Yamaha supplied chain lock in its original case. The owners manual and Yamaha warranty booklet are also present as is an original Yamaha factory supplied servicing manual!
All in all a very genuine and largely original bike.
Clearly the bike does have age related marks and some light pitting on certain chrome parts. This bike has the potential to become a very collectable original and indeed rare machine.
