1987 was the last year for the traditional XJ6. The Series III model has long been regarded as the most beautiful of the modern day Jaguar sedans. Most of these cars have been used up, modified, and have deteriorated to an on usable state. This example is the exact opposite. It is a well-documented, extremely well-maintained, highly original example. The quality of this car is amongst the top of any surviving Series III XJ6. It is extremely rare to find one so well preserved and maintained.
Originally sold new at Rally Motors in Paramus, New Jersey to a New York City executive. The first owner had this car until 2000 and he had put 49, 000 miles on it. We bought it from a collector who kept it at his summer home in Kennebunkport, Maine. Over the last several years the car had been used sparingly but still had been maintained properly.
As with all of our Jaguars this car received a thorough inspection by the Jaguar Doctor in Boca Raton, Florida. To get this car ready for sale we performed:
Replace transmission spool
Replace power steering rack bushings and washers
Install two new horns
Replace rear brake pads
Replace all three fuel valves and cleaned out charcoal canister
Replace exhaust "Y" pipe
Change oil and filter
Install new air conditioning compressor and dryer
Install new window master switch
New washer pump
New windshield wipers
Wheel alignment
Install four new Goodyear tires
This Jaguar is now completely turnkey and ready to be driven and enjoyed anywhere. No expense has been spared to ensure this Jaguars reliability, drivability, and safety.

Puddle lights on all door armrest to illuminate the road to warn oncoming motorist of an open door
Rear seat reading lamps which operate automatically when they are removed from the rest position
