Description
A nice clean GT500. The engine was rebuilt 2 years ago, the crank was rebuilt by Grampian Motors Liverpool. I restored this to ride so it has a modern power dynamo ignition and halogen light conversion. Higg speed pipes (they have a kickstart bruise on the kickstart side), but the original unrestored exhausts are included in the sale. Re-jetted and tuned for the pipes and pod type air filters. The original air box and headlight are also included in the sale. The paint has reacted on the tank and blistered the paintwork slightly.
Thrilling to ride! still makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck, runs great. Always ran on fully synthetic 2 stroke oil. A few bits and bobs to make absolutely mint but hopefully this is reflected in the price. 23, 400 Miles on the clock, 2800 after the engine rebuild.
No Rust, the tank has been lined and cured for modern fuel.
