Description

An absolutely superb example of the very attractive Singer Roadster, extensively and well restored in recent years, and finished in mint green - we are reliably informed that this was an original colour used for export cars. The paintwork is excellent, apart from one little scratch where the side screen sits, the chrome work is also excellent, as is the upholstery, including a full set of weather gear (hood, side screens and tonneau). The underside of the car is very clean and tidy and everything works as it should. The wheels and tyres are good, and the car steers and stops well. The engine, which we understand is the original, runs like a sewing machine (Singer?!) and offers lively performance. It is 1074cc with overhead cam and there is a 3-speed gearbox. The oil pressure is good and all the instruments and semaphores work properly. The car is ready for the road and just right for summer - a truly superb little four seater sports car - and marvellous value when compared to MG T types etc. V5C and large history file including some photos of the rebuild.

We are always pleased to consider part-exchange for other pre-war or early post-war cars, (or for good MGBs) and can offer economic delivery to most parts of mainland Britain.
