History of this car
A left hand drive, standard Tipo 818. 630 model, our car has recently been the subject of a thorough restoration by Italian artisans, working to the previous owner’s brief of returning the car to the day it left the Chivasso plant in 1971. Although there are no receipts for the work (modus operandi in Italy), it is obvious that this was a comprehensive job and a significant sum has been spent.
This car has spent its entire life in Italy until imported by us in 2015. It subsequently was sold to a lady who used the Lancia for about 1000klms locally and for events and is now back with us.
Our car is finished in the original Rosso York colour, a maroon which particularly suits the Piero Castagnero penned lines of the Fulvia.

Bodywork
Coachwork is excellent – rust free, arrow straight and with pleasingly consistent panel fit all round. The restoration of this car involved a windows-out repaint in the original delivery colour of Rosso York. This has a consistent and deep shine with terrific lustre.
The underside is straight, solid and appears entirely rust and accident free, with a protective coating applied throughout.
All lighting, trim and glass are in factory fresh condition, and the screen rubbers were replaced at the time of painting.
The wheels have also been blasted and repainted.
Mechanicals
This Fulvia has a sweet engine with correct oil pressure, minimal smoke and good, even compressions.
Recent service work includes attention to the suspension and general servicing, with receipts on file totaling £1200. 00, the most recent service being in May 2017.
As part of our sales preparation the Fulvia will be fitted with 4 new Michelin XAS radials.

Interior
Wow – the most authentic restored interior we’ve seen in a Fulvia. From the rubber matting up to the headlining, everything here has been restored (even the glove box) with correct materials, and thus presents as though it just rolled out of the Chivasso factory gates. Nonetheless, there is still a feel of originality inside and this is not like stepping into a new car - that Lancia charm lingers in spite of the fact the car has been entirely retrimmed, which we feel is testament to the superb quality of the work.
Protective tailored over carpets are supplied and a period radio is fitted.
Boot
Consistent with the rest of the car: very correct, jack and toolkit in place and a tailored protective over carpet is fitted.
Summary
A well restored Fulvia which has come from a good home with a lot of new expenditure. Supplied with an owner’s manual, spare keys and an alternative convex glass driver’s door mirror.
