1965 Ford Mustang Hardtop Coupe 200ci T-code 3. 3 in-line six cylinder engine and 3-speed manual gearbox. Factory Springtime Yellow with Tan interior with original steel wheels and covers fitted with new white-band tyres and Mustang radio.
A rock solid and original California Black Plate car with an amazing 35600 miles - yes that's just 35600 miles from new!!
Only imported into the UK in 2014 and dry stored since. Its refurbishment has included the fitting of a new fuel tank, the brakes being over-hauled, a new set of white-band tyres, fully serviced and the fitting of a new and correct Mustang steering wheel and new carburetor.
Thanks to the California sun the paintwork has faded and crazed and the car is now in our body shop being fully striped prior to preparation for a complete re-paint in its original Springtime Yellow. We will also be fitting all new seals to doors, boot and quarter windows. We have replaced the headlining but the rest of the interior looks to be original and as you will see from the photos is in marvelous condition. Even after pulling up the carpets and sound-proofing they all look to be factory fitted items revealing solid original floors still painted in body colour. Quite amazing after 52 years!
For the majority of its life this car has been owned by the one Californian family and comes with its own history file going back to the early 1970's, complete with registration cards and copy of its California Title confirming its incredible low mileage. Complete with original Mustang Owners Manual, spare wheel, boot mat and 2 sets of keys.
