Just 1, 570 of these cars were produced in RHD for worldwide sales. There is now a growing interest in these models from BMW and sports car collectors alike for these modern classics.
This is the fourth incarnation of the much-loved BMW M3. It’s powered by a high-revving S65 V8 motor that was specifically designed for the M3. It also features a massively revamped chassis and restyled bodywork.
BMW produced these cars at their Regensburg plant near to Munich. Its bespoke V8 engine was essentially the S85 V10 engine with two cylinders removed. It featured an all alloy cylinder head and 4 valves per cylinder, two-piece aluminium-silicon alloy crankcases, cast aluminium pistons, lightweight valves and hollow camshafts. The 3, 999cc unit had a compression ratio of 12;0:1. The engine produced 420 bhp @8, 300 rpm and 295 lb/ ft. of torque @3, 900 rpm.
Supplied new in April 2012 by Bavarian BMW, our vehicle has enjoyed regular BMW main dealer servicing.
