Manufactured on 30th June 1971 Chassis No: GHN5/ 240553/ G is finished in its original colour scheme of Midnight Blue with Black Leather trim, Black carpets, Wooden Steering Wheel, brand new Black Mohair Soft Top, reconditioned Gold Seal 1798cc Engine, 4 Speed Gearbox with Overdrive on 3rd/ 4th gears, 'electric' Power Steering, front Spot lights and GB Alloy Wheels.
This car was first registered in England but was exported to Holland and registered there in September 1977. It has spent the last 40 years in the Netherlands and was sold by a dealer to the current Dutch owner in December 2015. He imported the car back to the UK last year and it was re-registered here in July 2016.
We are told that the car was restored in Holland around 3 years ago and the Gold Seal Engine was fitted prior to this, but we do not have dates or mileages.
It is in lovely condition throughout with very good body and paintwork, a very nice interior and it drives beautifully with no known issues. It has a recorded mileage of 97, 295 which we believe to be genuine and it is HPi clear on all registers. Overall a very nice example of a MK2 MGB Roadster.
It is currently MOT'd until April 2018, but upon sale it will be fully serviced and come with a new 12 month MOT and our own 6 month Mechanical Warranty that can be extended at additional cost if required. It is of course Road Tax exempt.
