EXTERIOR
This 3-Series is presented with Diamond Black paint, a smart and refined looking colour with a deep metallic flake under close inspection. The paintwork remains in excellent useable condition with only a small amount of stone chips to be found towards the front. Being a facelift example the car sports body-coloured bumpers, all of which are free from any major scuffs or damage. The light lenses are also free from any cracks or moisture. The manually operated black soft-top is in great condition with zero rips and a clear plastic rear screen.
INTERIOR
The interior space is upholstered with silver leather, a great contrast to the black paintwork. The seats are showing minimal wear to the bases and bolsters. The rear seats are also clean with little evidence of significant use. The dashboard and centre console are unmarked with no cracks to be found in common areas such as the dash top. Other items such as the switchgear and steering wheel remain in particularly fine fettle showing little wear. A period correct Panasonic cassette player can also be found in place.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The 2. 5 straight six engine starts first turn of the key and idles up to temperature just as it should. The engine bay retains a clean appearance with no signs of damage, poor repair, or corrosion to any of the inner panels. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a silken 4-speed automatic transmission. The E30 was most recently serviced at 58k miles in 2016, which also included a timing belt change.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The BMW sits on a set of 14-inch BBS alloy wheels. Upon close inspection the wheels are in good condition with only a few marks to note. The tyres are showing ample tread all round and a recent invoice shows a set of replacement brake pads.
