Description
Black Sapphire with Cotswold Hide, Good examples of these Coachbuilt cars are getting ever harder to turn up. This car, with just under 15000 miles from new, must surely be one of the nicest left in existence. It really is a pleasure to walk round and examine such a well kept example. The chrome trim is deep, rich and virtually blemish free, interior leather never been connolised, the nuts, bolts and securing clips of the under bonnet area still shining with their original zinc plating glistening in the light, and the underside is just a pleasure to behold. The factory applied wax is still present on the engine sump, brake and fuel lines pure unspoilt original clean steel and the black factory wax coating to the floor exteriors and subframe still supple and unbroken. This car has never seen salty winter roads, which is so often the downfall of a hand built car. Drive is drum tight, with no scuttle shake whatsoever, so often seen in higher mileage examples. The car comes with its factory supplied large and small tools, white linen gloves, full handbook pack and its original plush lambswool over rugs. Servicing has been carried out at 296, 488, 3930, 7574, 11163, 13179 and 14881 miles. The recent service was a major, which included changing spark plugs, all fluids and filters, brake accumulator spheres, front and rear brake pads, wiper blades etc. Owned by the last elderly keeper for 15 years, and always dry stored. Simply outstanding in every respect, and must be a sure footed investment ! May P/ X. Please visit - details above for 40 images.
