Descrição
Introduced in April 1932, the Austin 10/ 4 quickly became a best seller and
gained an enviable reputation for economy and dependability. Capable of 57
mph with frugal fuel consumption, it was the car of choice for thousands of
families. Today, survivors benefit from the support of the Austin Ten
Drivers' Club, which offers an excellent spares service and the opportunity
to participate in a wide variety of events.
The 1934 saloon we offer here finished in Blue and Black, is in sound and presentable order, and, whilst
it would benefit from a little cosmetic attention in certain areas, it is
nevertheless, a very correct example in good running order with a quiet
engine and a recently renewed clutch.
In the current ownership, it has been well maintained and numerous bills
substantiate this. The spare wheel cover, which is so often missing on these models, is fitted.
An opportunity to enjoy pre-war motoring for a very modest sum, the Austin
retains its original registration number and is ready for a new custodian to
take her into 2018 and beyond.
