1990 MERCEDES-BENZ 280 GEL G WAGEN – G WAGON
Introduction:
This wonderful w460 chassis long wheel base 9 seater g wagen has just arrived in stock with us this week. Finished in silver metallic with a charcoal/ grey check interior this car represents unbelieveable value for money in the current climate and benefits from being fully colour coded (wheelarches and the bumpers) in the last few years. Also features privacy glass to the rear doors/ windows. This is a very very good looking truck!
Service History:
Supplied new by Bradshaw Webb Chelsea in September 1989, this car has been fantastically well looked after with seventeen services in total stamped in the origibal service book, fourteen by the supplying dealer, following on from this the car has every single mot ever completed as well as a plethora of history in the form of lots of service invoices including a mjor top end engine rebuild.
Bodywork Condition:
Very clean and panel straight, this w460 is a very nice example for its age with the odd minor blemish?scratch upon very close inspection. Most of these vehicles of this vintage suffer from major rust/ corrosion issues on the scuttle panel, rear quarters and sills, this is not the case with this car. I would describe it as 8/ 10 for overall condition.
Interior Condition:
A very clean interior, headlining in fantastic condition, all seats are in excellent condition also with the only blemish being a small wear mark on the drivers seat base cushion (as can be seen in the pictures). Everything works as it should and it is noted in the service history that is had had the drivers door electric window motor replaced in the past.
We anticipate this to be avery popular vehic;e due to the condition and value for money it reporesents with enquiries from both home and abroad.
