Extremely rare and special micro car, microcar AWS-Shopper 1973
The market for micro cars is going up for a number of years.
I had been looking for an AWS-Shopper of which a real good and original could be made. I have been looking at five cars and this is the one I did choose.
Why I sell it? Our dream car is coming for sale next year and that is why I will sell my oldtimers, a Saab 96 ( 1975 ) a Trabant 601 ( 1976 ) and this AWS.
I already spent some time and money, two original seats, new tyres, exhaust, wheel covers and so on. I have been told that the engine and clutch were rebuilt in 2005 but I could not control this so I am not sure.
PAY ATTENTION PLEASE there still is serious work concerning this car. Floor ( bottom ) needs to be renewed, one part near the interior needs to be repaired and welded, one side needs to be repaired too( see photo ) The carburator must be renewed cost 50€, two or four plastic wheel covers, cost 25 till 100€ per piece and maybe some other small parts too.

I know a german specialist and he will have all the parts usually, but sometimes you must wait a few weeks before you can get it.
Many museums own an AWS-Shopper. In Germany some 60 are in running condition.
