Véhicules Poncin SA was a French manufacturer of automobiles. Gilles Poncin founded the company in Tournes in the Ardennes region in 1980 and started production of automobiles in 1981. The brand name was Poncin. Production ended in 1993. Four-wheelers and amphibious vehicles with four, six and eight wheels were produced. The model VP 2000 had the two-cylinder engine of the Citroën 2 CV with 602 cm³ displacement and 30 HP. For the models 4x4 and 6x6 a dinghy engine from Renault was used. The choice was a gasoline engine with 2165 cm³ displacement and 106 hp as well as a diesel engine with 2068 cm³ displacement and 68 hp.
