MGB GT V8 – 2 Owners/ Huge History.
MG introduced the MGB GT V8 in 1973. The cars were well received at the time but poor build quality and the fuel crisis meant just 2, 591 were constructed when production ceased in 1976.
Our original chrome bumper example was registered in 1974 and is finished in rare Aconite. The car has had just two owners and covered a warranted 75, 000 miles from new. The condition is simply outstanding having been the subject of a complete photographic body restoration and mechanical recommissioning by the MG Owners Club workshop during 2011 & 2012 at a total cost in excess of £17, 000 and we have just fitted a recondition gearbox.
The black dashboard, autumn leaf seats & carpets are a stunning combination and on the road the car is outstanding with strong mechanical's, excellent road manners and a superb V8 soundtrack. The history file includes MOT’s back to 1979, original Passport to Service, invoices and log of expenditure.
