Description
This car was first registered on 31 December 1936 and we would describe it as a car to use and improve. It needs a proper re-commissioning as it has not been used much recently, although the previous owner had it for ten years. However, it starts easily and runs nicely with decent brakes. The engine shows good oil pressure and we can see no cracks in the block; there are no leaks. The gearbox, however, is very noisy in first and reverse, but once up the gears, the car runs along fine. The bodywork appears to be nice and sound, and the paintwork is fair to middling. The interior is all original, apart from the carpets, with leather seating. The headlining is original and in generally good condition apart from the rear window surround, but this is a separate item and can easily be re-covered. The underside of the car is definitely 'oily rag' and appears to be sound . V5C.
