Beschreibung
First registered in Edinburgh on the 18th October 1932, this Austin 7 is one of the final RN series models. Believed to have been off the road for many years, it underwent a full restoration body-off rebuild in recent times, this being illustrated in an album of photos which are supplied. During the past 12 months much additional work has been carried out with around £3, 000 having been spent.
Three years ago the engine was fully rebuilt and bills are included on file, along with a vast amount of additional paperwork.
In the last ownership the car was often used to commute from Dorking to Brooklands, where its owner worked as a volunteer at the Museum.
Affectionately known as ‘Bubbles, this is a well-sorted car and is ready to go anywhere, being very smartly presented in Maroon and Black with a deep red interior and functioning sunshine roof and luggage rack. The tyres are also recent replacements.
