Understood to be one of only 27 Tischer XL65 ever built and believed to be the only example in the UK, this retro VW coach built is super practical, simple to maintain, and guaranteed to turn heads where ever you park up!
Powered by a 1600cc Turbo Diesel motor, it’s no rocket ship, but it motors along nicely at 65mph, and thanks to the 5 speed box it’ll return a reasonable MPG too.
Behind the stable door, and the double glazed windows you’ll find a horseshoe seating area with collapsible table that handily turns into a large bed. A decent kitchen area and separate toilet shower cubicle, not to mention a wardrobe are further luxuries afforded by the 65cm extension to the wheelbase (hence the XL65 name).
Buddy seats behind the driver and passenger convert to another single bed, and offer a step up to a bunk above the cab, which would be ideal for a child.
Externally the body and chassis are in great condition, with no signs of corrosion. The rear flanks and engine access panel currently sport vinyl graphics with our company branding, mimicking the original Tischer stripes found above the cab, but these can be easily removed if required.
Originally imported to the UK by us in 2015, it is a LHD, so it’s perfect for continental road trips. But you can see loads out those ‘truck style’ mirrors from the comfort of the armchair-esque seats if you are driving around England.
