1991 Mulsanne S
The name "Mulsanne" is derived from Bentley's Motorsport history, which included 5 victories at the 24 Hour Le Mans between 1924 and 1930 — the 'Mulsanne Straight' being the stretch of the Le Mans racecourse where cars reach their highest speeds.
The Mulsanne S shares the traditional 6. 75 L Rolls Royce V8 and offers the perfect compromise between the standard Mulsanne and the harsher Turbo model.
This particular vehicle is believe to be 1 of just 55 Mulsanne S, registered on the UK roads today. Prices for these cars are on the rise as collector look to add the finest examples to their collections, both in the UK and abroad.
Having been sympathetically dry stored for a number of years, the car was recommissioned in 2012 with no expense spared in doing so. This included a mechanical overhaul and full paint refinishing.
