A 1969 Yamaha CS2 180, registration number TOR 146G, frame number CS2 60174, engine number CS2 60174, blue. Yamaha's CS2 introduced in 1969 was the first 180 cc twin offered for sale by the company in Europe. They featured a five speed gearbox, funky candy paint schemes, electric start and 21bhp free- revving engine. This example has been restored by a previous owner and has formed part of a private collection. It will be offered for auction with an accompanying history file containing an original parts list, service manual (copy) and sundry paperwork. With interest in vintage Japanese motorcycles increasing every year, this rare Yamaha twin offers an excellent opportunity to purchase an increasingly rare and collectable motorcycle.
