Descrição
An absolutely delightful and well-constructed Sports Special, based on Austin Seven Ruby running gear with the body support extensions removed. It appears to be an aluminium body over a tubular steel frame, and has been extremely well made. The aluminium cycle wings, chrome radiator and headlights, together with Brooklands screens and leather bonnet strap, make it look very sporty indeed. The mechanics, which are fairly standard, are all in good order and the car runs and drives well with good oil pressure, everything works as it should. I would say that the car seems much quicker than any standard Austin Seven, so maybe the engine has been lightly tuned. The gearbox is 4-speed. The 17" x 450 wheels and tyres are in excellent condition and look really good on the car. The underside of the car, and as you can see, the paintwork and interior are all equally good. A well put-together car that will give the next owner a lot of pleasure. V5C and some history.
