The Cosworth-developed 2. 5 16v motor, combined with the steering and handling revisions, transforms these cars from a worthy but slightly staid saloon into a rapid mile-eater.

The last owner was a true enthusiast and kept it in heated garage, and looked after it meticulously. The odometer reading of 134000 miles is supported by a massive history file including service book with 21 stamps in it, MOT’s back to 1991, and a raft of service invoices and bills. It underwent a light restoration a couple of years ago including a full brake overhaul, new exhaust, and all the plastic panels removed and repainted, and now looks absolutely stunning, and drives accordingly.
