A delightful little Austin in dark blue and black and in very good condition throughout, apart from an unfortunate noise in the engine which has developed recently - hence the low asking price. With the engine sorted, this car would be on the market for £7, 250. The noise appears to come from the clutch/ flywheel end, but you will have to make your own judgement. In recent times, the car has been extensively restored, including a full re-trim of the seats, door cards, headlining and the correct style floor rubbers have been added. The Pytchley sunroof works well, as does the opening front window. The running gear is all in good working order (but see the above note about the engine) ie steering, suspension, gearbox, wheels etc. The car was re-wired in 2015, the tyres look to be nearly new and the whole underside of the car is really smart and well painted. There is a good history file, V5C and continuation log book dating back to 1950, all showing the same registration number. An excellent car for an enthusiast with some mechanical knowledge.
