Austin Cambridge A55 Mk 2 – Show Winner
The A55 Cambridge Mark II, is the first "Farina" model designed by Pininfarina
and was produced from 1959 through to 1961. The car retained the 1. 5 litre B-
Series engine of the previous model but featured a new trans-Atlantic look
with high “Cathedral” fins and optional two-tone paintwork. Many cars ended
their lives at the Banger Races and good examples now are highly prized
Milestones are delighted to offer this remarkable Austin A55 finished in two-
tone Farina Grey/ Horizon Blue. The car looks and drives superbly, starts first
time every time and is a pleasure to use on modern roads. The interior is
lovely with original carpets, roof lining, seats etc. and the under bonnet
detailing is one the best we have seen
The history file is huge with all invoices (many laminated), two framed display
boards with original paperwork, pictures of previous owners etc and a variety
of cups and trophy’s.
Stepping into the Farina takes you straight back to 1959 and she will give lots
of pleasure to the lucky new owners
