The car has been subject to a sympathetic rolling restoration since we found it in 2009. The car was stripped for a full bare metal respray in 2010 which still looks fresh today. As many of the original parts were re-used as possible given that this car was otherwise so original - the original supplying dealer's number plates and leather keyring came with the car!
The original engine and gearbox was also subject to a cosmetic refresh but needed very little mechanically - just fresh oil and a service. The car currently runs on a replacement 650cc engine with syncro gearbox which makes the car far more driveable in modern day traffic. The Original Engine and transmission will accompany the car.
The interior was restored in 2016 with replacement 'f' spec seat covers and fresh carpet - the intention has been to install an original rubber flooring and this can be arranged prior to sale.
This is a low mileage, low owner car in stunning condition.
