Description
An exceptional Fiat 500 Jolly in electric configuration, fully restored from the ground up and presented in virtually new condition. The car has been prepared with great attention to detail and stylistically references the classic beach cars associated with the Italian Riviera.
The combination of the classic Fiat 500 appearance with a modern electric drivetrain makes the car extremely pleasant to use – quiet, ecological and practically maintenance-free.
Cars of this type are particularly popular in:
• resorts and luxury hotels
• marinas and yacht clubs
• seaside villas and holiday homes
• private classic car collections
Scope of Restoration
During the restoration the car was completely dismantled down to the last bolt and then fully rebuilt.
The main works included:
• sandblasting the body down to bare metal
• comprehensive bodywork repairs
• protection of the body with epoxy primer
• professional repainting
Body panels that required replacement during restoration were replaced with new sheet-metal panels, including:
• front boot lid
• engine cover
• front wings
• front panel
• inner wheel arches
• floor panels
• luggage compartment floor section
• outer sills
• inner sills
• rear engine cross member
As a result, the body is in excellent structural and visual condition.
Replaced Mechanical and Exterior Components
During the rebuild most mechanical and visual components were replaced with new parts, including:
• complete braking system
• suspension components
• steering components
• electrical wiring and components
• headlights and lighting
• bumpers
• wheels and hubcaps
• whitewall tyres
• new seats
• wicker elements
• Jolly roof structure
• Jolly side rails
• 12V auxiliary battery
Interior
The interior has been fully restored and is essentially new.
Main interior elements include:
• new floor covering in ochre colour
• dashboard knee pad in ochre colour
• new roof upholstery
• hand-made wicker seats made from natural wicker
• new interior upholstery elements
The wicker elements are handcrafted from real natural wicker, following traditional techniques used in classic Jolly vehicles.
The interior colour scheme was designed to harmonise with the body colour Avorio Antico.
Additionally:
• the wheels
• the speedometer housing
• the steering wheel
have been finished in the body colour, creating a very elegant and cohesive appearance.
The car is also fitted with classic whitewall tyres.
(The whitewalls are currently protected with a blue protective coating which is removed during the first wash.)
Electric Drivetrain and Transmission
The car is equipped with a 10 kW electric motor, providing smooth and comfortable driving.
Unlike the original Fiat 500, which features a manual non-synchronised gearbox requiring some driving experience, this car uses an integrated electric drivetrain with a very simple rotary selector transmission.
Three driving modes are available:
• D – Drive
• N – Neutral
• R – Reverse
Operation is extremely simple and intuitive – the driver only needs to turn the selector to the desired position.
The car accelerates very smoothly and surprisingly dynamically, without the need for gear changes. The instant torque of the electric motor makes the car very enjoyable to drive, particularly at urban and leisure speeds.
As a result, the car is easy to drive even for people with no experience in classic vehicles.
Charging
The vehicle can be charged from a standard household power outlet.
• voltage range 90–240 V
• suitable for charging in both Europe and the USA
• no dedicated charging station required
• full charging time approximately 4 hours
Parts Availability and Support
One of the major advantages of this vehicle is excellent availability of spare parts.
Most mechanical components such as:
• suspension parts
• braking system components
• lighting
• steering components
are standard Fiat 500 parts, widely available throughout Europe.
In addition, we provide availability of Jolly-specific components such as:
• bumpers
• tubular side rails
• roof structure and canopy
• wicker elements
These parts are available through our workshop for vehicles built by our company, ensuring easy servicing and repair if required. This car was prepared in our workshop Fiat Linea Fresca, a specialist manufacturer focusing on the construction and restoration of Fiat 500 Jolly vehicles.
For more than 10 years we have specialised in building these vehicles, and to date we have completed approximately 60 Fiat 500 Jolly cars, which are currently used around the world, including in:
• the United States
• several European countries
• Dubai
• the Maldives
Each vehicle is built individually with great attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Build Process
All vehicles prepared in our workshop follow the same multi-stage restoration process.
The process includes:
Complete dismantling of the vehicle
Sandblasting of the body
Comprehensive body restoration
Anti-corrosion protection of the body and closed sections
Professional painting
Final assembly of the vehicle
Every stage of the restoration is documented photographically – from complete dismantling through bodywork and painting to final assembly.
Source of Base Vehicles
Base Fiat 500 vehicles are sourced primarily from Italy, especially from southern regions of the country.
Cars from this area are usually in much better structural condition than vehicles found in northern Europe, where corrosion often makes restoration significantly more difficult.
This allows us to work with better base vehicles, resulting in a higher-quality finished car.
Documentation
The car is:
• registered in Poland
• registered as an electric convertible
• supplied with full registration documentation
The buyer receives all documents required for registration in other countries.
The vehicle can also be verified in the official public database of the Polish Ministry of Infrastructure, where it is listed as a registered electric convertible.
Based on our experience exporting similar vehicles, registration in other European countries and in the United States does not present any issues.
