1989 Countach Anniversary RHD
17, 200 miles from new
Finished in Nero with Crema leather piped Nero
The 25th Anniversary was the final production model of the Lamborghini Countach, introduced in 1988 to honour the companies 25th anniversary and produced only until 1990 when Countach production ceased to make way for the new Diabolo. Mechanically it was very similar to the existing 5000QV, however the most notable changes were to the exterior. The original Bertone body work, penned by the legendary Marcello Gandini, received a make over by Horacio Pagani, now of course a legendary supercar manufacturer in his own right. Interior refinement was also improved and now featured electric windows, electrically adjustable seats and an improved air conditioning system.
This particular example was first registered on 7th December 1989, supplied by then Lamborghini sole UK concessionaires Portman. A stunning example supplied with a very comprehensive history file. The penultimate owners tenure lasted nearly 18 years. The file shows he clearly cherished the car and when not being used it was stored in a dehumidified storage facility. Like most Countach owners his usage was low, however there are invoices on file totalling just short of £20, 000 during his ownership. Finished in surely the best colour combination and looking all the better for being supplied without a rear wing.
