The Appeal
Die 450R/T war Ducatis vielleicht etwas widerwilliger Einstieg in die hart umkämpfte Welt der amerikanischen Scrambler-Bikes. Mit seinem cleveren Desmodronic-Motor war es technologisch fortschrittlich, bekannt für Leistung und Laufruhe bei hohen Drehzahlen.
Damals war es kein großer Erfolg und es lief nur drei Jahre von 1971 bis 1974. All das macht Überlebende wie dieses zu einer seltenen Entdeckung für Sammler. Dieses Motorrad soll 2012 von den USA nach Großbritannien gelangt sein und befindet sich seit 2013 beim aktuellen Besitzer. Mit dem markanten Gelbton und dem seltenen original Beleuchtungsset behält es seinen Stil und erinnert daran, wie schick diese Ducati Scramblers waren.
Das Bike wurde in den letzten 10 Jahren wenig genutzt, daher wird wahrscheinlich eine erneute Inbetriebnahme erforderlich sein, falls Sie es nutzen möchten. Alternativ wäre es eine großartige Ergänzung jeder statischen Sammlung und ist sicherlich ein Gesprächsthema.
