1998 Honda Bros 400

Highlights

  • Garage-stored under blankets for 26 years prior to recommissioning
  • In current ownership for approximately 27 years
  • Recently fully serviced and MOT'd by Waltham Cross Motorcycles
  • Service history present

The Appeal

This is a distinctively styled, punchy, low-revving bike that you won't often find on British asphalt. Originally sold in Southeast Asian and Japanese markets, the Bros 400s are an increasingly uncommon sight.
This example was imported as a grey import and purchased through Box Hill Motorcycles. Its owner rode it for just two years before declaring it SORN in 1999, after which it was carefully garage-stored under blankets for 26 years.

Recently recommissioned with a full service and fresh MOT by Waltham Cross Motorcycles, it retains its original specification throughout. And, put simply, is an absolutely smasher. The vendor notes that it's amongst the best examples they've seen.

We want a smooth transaction just as much as you do and as such we run all UK-registered cars and motorbikes for sale on Car & Classic through an online HPI check to verify that they show no insurance database markers for damage or theft, and have no finance owing, allowing you to bid with confidence.
✓ We also check whether vehicles are recorded as being written off as part of an insurance total loss claim at the time an advert is placed on Car & Classic and we helpfully provide write-off category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) for your assistance. However, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the vehicle’s status and it is always worthwhile carrying out your own  full vehicle history check before making an offer on a vehicle.
