The Appeal
The Mk3 was the final factory outing for the gorgeous ‘Big Healey’ shape. These cars gained plusher interiors and a useful power hike to 150bhp.
This car began its life in France but returned to the UK around 6 years ago. On arrival, it was treated to a comprehensive chassis-off restoration and engine rebuild by renowned Healey specialist Will Gollop. That work was completed in 2022, since when the car has covered less than 100 miles There is a highly detailed record of this work that included 100 invoices, many photos and a USB stick detailing the range of work.
It is clear why Gollop is so well-regarded. This car presents at a very high level, the quality retained over the intervening three years, thanks to the sparing use. Classically finished in red with chrome wires and a black interior, it is a really lovely example.
The car is reluctantly for sale by the current keeper due to a change of circumstances. It comes with a useful voluntary MOT valid to November 2025 with no advisories.
