The Appeal

The MG TD's traditional styling - upright grille, sweeping wings, and classic wire wheels - looked nostalgic even when brand new, and, combined with the perky performance from the XPAG straight-four, it catapulted the marque to stardom. American servicemen took them to the US in their droves, while many European drivers found it the perfect companion for twisty B-Roads. Today, the TD remains a perennially popular classic.

This 1952 example is presented in white with a red leather interior and underwent a comprehensive overhaul completed in 2025. The scope of work was extensive, covering mechanical, structural, and cosmetic elements across the car, resulting in a fine classic with plenty of character at its core.
