The Appeal
To complement its two-door Bertone coupés, Alfa Romeo asked the Turinese design house to devise a four-door saloon based upon the inimitable Tipo 105 platform. The 1750 and 2000 Berlinas Bertone came up with proved an immense success. Here was a well-styled, practical family saloon with all the dynamic flair of Alfa's favourite sporting models. What's not to like?!
This 1976 example is the later 2.0-litre model - fitted with the largest version of Giuseppe Busso's Nord four-cylinder twin-cam. With matching numbers and a history of only two registered keepers, this car has been cherished and also well-preserved in Greece's dry climate.
The extensive documentation, including original registration documents and service manuals, adds to its appeal, making it a worthy consideration for any classic car collector.
