The Appeal
The 1976 Chevrolet G10 is a true 1970s American classic, admired for its rugged build, rear-wheel drive, and strong 350-cubic-inch V8 engine. Popular with tradesmen and custom van enthusiasts alike, it offered reliability, performance, and a sense of freedom that defined the decade.
This particular example was imported from sunny California by American Autoparts in Surrey and first registered with the DVLA in 2018. It’s been in the current ownership since 2020 and recently received a mechanical overhaul, tune, and full service in April 2025.
Finished in Medium Blue with a naturally aged patina and 15 inch Baja wheels on 4 Goodrich tyres, it carries an authentic look that reflects its history. The bodywork features powder-coated bumpers, a refinished grille, and chrome details, while inside, black leather captain seats and matching door cards add comfort. The rear remains a blank canvas with sound deadening and wood flooring, ideal for personalisation.
With its automatic gearbox, power steering, and torque-rich V8, this “solid” example of classic American motoring is ready to be enjoyed as a nostalgic cruiser or transformed into a unique project.
