The Appeal

A V8 R107 adds a sonorous soundtrack to any road trip, and for that reason alone, we are drawn to this attractive Diamond Blue 380SL. Sitting smartly on a set of brightly be-chromed steel wheels, it is in solid and very usable condition. Perfect, in fact, for summer motoring.

Across the bodywork, paintwork and interior, this is a well-kept car . It has covered few miles for a R107 and for its 40 years. There have been just five keepers - the current one since 1995.

The car comes to market with a good history file showing regular maintenance. There is the added transparency of a lengthy MOT that runs to March 2026 with no advisories. That could be the car’s last test because from April 2026 it will be eligible for Historic Vehicle status, making it tax, MOT and ULEZ exempt.
