The Appeal
The enduring appeal of Ford’s Capri makes projects like the one completed on this car worthwhile. The vendor acquired it in 2009 needing work because he fancied a project. Since then he has extensively overhauled the car including new Ford panels and a full mechanical overhaul.
The vendor professes not to be a Capri enthusiast, so has covered very few miles since completion, instead carefully storing the car in a Carcoon. That has preserved the high-level condition, the Diamond White paintwork presenting particularly well. The grey leather and fabric Recaro interior is largely original and shows only light wear commensurate with the low displayed mileage.
This car looks so good in the photos that it could be a potential show star. It is a really good opportunity to acquire a Capri 2.8 Special at the top level, benefitting from all that work. It comes to market with the added reassurance of an advisory-free MOT to June 2026.
