This rather nice E39 Touring is a 2000 'W' registration 520i manual has covered 122000 miles from new and has always been a car local to this area. It has full main dealer service history until 106000 miles and a current MOT to September 2019. There are 2 remote keys present (along with small grey key), a full bookpack, original overmats, glove box torch and toolkit.
The history file contains every invoice from new and the last service was carried out in June 2018 by a local garage. In 2016 both rear air springs were replaced at the main dealer at a cost of over £700. Our own preparation has included fitting a new air mass meter and ABS sensor.
The specification includes Electric Glass Sunroof, Dual Zone Climate Control, Cruise Control, 16" Turbine Alloys, Cloth Trim, Air-Con, ABS/ ASC, rear load cover, front fog lights and soft close tailgate.
Overall condition of this car is very good to excellent inside and out and it drives exactly how a well maintained E39 should do.
The E39 is rapidly becoming a modern classic and is arguably not just the best generation of 5 series ever built, but as some are saying one of the best cars ever built! This example is probably one of the nicest and most genuine Touring's currently on offer and is a great value way into E39 ownership.
