This is a very well restored example of the iconic Series 2A SWB Land Rover.
Sitting on a new galvanised chassis manufactured by Richards, the original bulkhead was repaired as required. New front wings, sills, door tops and bottoms and a new tailgate were all fitted, before the whole vehicle was re-sprayed and the interior re-trimmed. A new canvas top was added.
The brakes, steering and axles were all refurbished. The restoration included a new carburettor, new distributor (with electronic ignition), new radiator, new full length exhaust system and much more.
A full photographic record of all the work done is included in the vehicle file. Seeing and driving is a must to fully appreciate this iconic British machine, a must for any Landrover collector or enthusiast.
