It is not often we come across a great and sympathetically restored Rhd drive Uk delivered Fulvia, most have been ravaged by the dreaded rust, added to this the car offered is the much revered HF 1. 6 Lusso.
In my opinion these handsome cars have trailed behind their cousin the Alfa Romeo 105 series Bertone Coupe, infact in a “Face Off” from a handling and performance perspective I would take the HF!
This stunning example has had a series of Lancia enthusiasts as past owners and has always been cherished , evidenced by the books, bills and old Mot’s on file.
Presented in the Stunning correct shade of HF Rosso (Lan 213) this car is the recent recipient of a “Glass Out” repaint and refurbishment where all necessary remedial work was attended to and then given a fabulous coat of Red. Various trims were replace along with window rubbers where necessary so no wind noise of note. The Cromodora wheels have been taken back and been repainted to show the insignia, also wearing Dunlop SP sports tyres all round. difficult to repeat the car still has the spare wheel cover and tools. The HF wheel arches giving it a stand apart look. All in all you can tell I am in awe of the look and drive of this example!
Being Lancia lovers here at GREENSIDE we have to date rarely pulled the trigger and bought a Fulvia due to the fact that values have not justified restoration. Our car is sympathetically restored and ready for immediate use. These driver’s cars are now being recognized for their pedigree and fabulous looks, hence values are running up it seems.
The mechanics have been checked , the gear change is smooth and as one would expect on such a well sorted car. A thorough service and shake down have been done and to enhance performance and fluidity a set of Dellorto Carbs have been fitted. The original and restored Solex carbs are available with the car.
Registered on the 22/ 12/ 1971 here in the UK this makes our car a very Rare classic indeed and is ready for a summer of fun at car events , trips to Europe ….
