This car has been unused/ garaged for a number of years. I have the full history including original bill of sale and lots of old service documents.
The original owner sold the car to his son, who kept it until I bought it. I ran it as my everyday car for a few years, then garaged it when I got a company car.
Alas due to lack of time I just cannot get around to doing the necessary work on the car.
The engine turns fine but won't start - I'm sure that it just needs a thorough service, new plugs etc. Whilst it was garaged I did start it regularly but the battery failed and I left it for a while. There is a newish battery supplied.
The bodywork needs attention, a couple of the wings are now very rusty BUT I have a full set of s/ h wings which come with the car, along with a few other spares.
The interior is complete and original. The leather is in excellent condition for an unrestored car, almost like new in the rear.
This really would be a pretty simple rolling restoration - if you have the time and a little money to spend on her, you'll soon end up with a particularly fine P6 with a complete history. It's breaking my heart to see her going unused. My intention was to restore sympathetically so that she looks like a well cared for used car, but you could easily bring her up to a very high/ concours standard.
Please give my P6 the good home she deserves.
