These late chassis 911 SC models are becoming very sought after, the car possessing a more classic 911 ‘feel’ than the later Carrera 3. 2 model. This superb example is the cabriolet model made as an SC for only the last year of SC production. This model features a number of special features including manual hood operation – simple to operate, lighter and it allows the hood to fold fully flat into the cabin allowing the rear wing profile to really standout.
This completely original Cabriolet was supplied new to the home (German) market and has covered only 60, 000 km from new in the hands of three owners, the last a significant English Porsche collector. It remains in superb order in all respects having been carefully stored for many years in Germany. Subsequently it has been used on dry summer days. Last year the car was fully inspected by the highly regarded marque specialist BS Motorsport and any item requiring attention was dealt with.
