The Appeal
The '37 Ford is one of the most revered platforms in the hot-rod world, and the roadster body style sits at the very top of the desirability tree. Building one to a genuinely high standard, with no compromises and no shortcuts, is a pursuit that demands years of dedication, deep pockets, and access to the right components. Our car ticks every one of those boxes.
Started in February 2005 and completed in May 2014, this custom roadster was built over more than eight years, starting with a Rodline Club Cabriolet body on a TCI chassis, before being extensively re-engineered into a bespoke two-seat roadster with 60 to 70 body and chassis modifications. The vast majority of parts were sourced directly from the USA, including the Chevrolet 4.8-litre Vortec V8, Wilwood brakes, Budnik billet wheels, Flaming River steering, Dakota Digital instrumentation, and air ride suspension. The interior was custom-trimmed by Neil Tadman, and the exterior wears Audi R8 White with a House of Kolor crystal-effect lacquer coat, a combination that has clearly caught the eye of judges across Europe.
And what a show record it boasts. On its debut at the 2014 National Hot Rod Show, it placed in the Top 5. From there, it went on to claim Best in Show at the Ahoy Tuning Show in Rotterdam (twice), Best in Show at Tuningworld Showdown in Germany, and Best Hot Rod at the Essen Motor Show - an impressive haul of silverware that speaks volumes about the quality of the build. The car was also featured in Custom Car Magazine's June 2014 issue.
For anyone seeking a proven, award-winning, show-quality hot rod, this 1937 Ford Roadster represents an unmissable opportunity. The vendor describes this as a true "no compromise" build, and the international bear that out.IMG_8928.webp258.62 KB
