An original AFN 2. 4 S in right hand drive with the side oil filler is a rare car and this specification is believed to be unique in silver metallic (8080), with sports seats and a red madras check interior.
The red madras check interior was a special option towards the end of production of the F-series 911 models. Other options specified when new included: outside mirror on passenger side, Koni sport dampers, Sports seats, tinted glass, power windows, trims on wheel housings and an electric sunroof. This 2. 4 S rides on the 5-spoke 'Fuchs' design rims, first introduced to the 911 on this variant.
Our car is not a garage queen and is regularly used and serviced accordingly. The interior was completely refurbished by our coach trimmer with new red madras check cloth, the correct grain matching red leather throughout and new carpets. The exterior paintwork is far from concours standard, but we've chosen to leave it as is for that very reason.
We've owned this 2. 4 S since 2015 and the previous owner cherished it for 28 years, having bought it in 1987.
