A rare A40 Sports convertible Approximately only 4000 made and just a few left in UK , all aluminium body built by Jensen and Austin''s Longbridge plant made the final assembly. This one is unfinished project, very original with the optional twin carburetors on it which gives it a few more horse-power. Needs paint and some attention, Engine is working but advise to re build.
The Austin A40 Sports was launched at the 1950 Motor Show. Jensen designer Eric Neale had been working on a sleek body for the original Jensen Interceptor. DVLA has only 71 registered A40 Sport.
I have bought this vehicle to re built but Luck of space i have to sell it. A40 Sport is only few left in Uk.
